About Me

Welcome! My name is Fiona McBride and I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I earned a BA in Biology through the College of Creative Studies and a minor in Professional Writing for Science Communication. This fall, I will be pursuing a master's degree in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School.

I write in order to educate, excite, and enable people of all skill levels to interact with science. My specific areas of interest are data analysis and visualization related to machine learning, genomics, and spatial transcriptomics.
